We Keep It Simple

We keep it simple here at Foister Farm by offering quarters, halves, and whole units of beef per cow.  You want to go in with three of your neighbors and purchase a whole cow? Wonderful!  You want to go out on your own and purchase a quarter of a cow just to give us a try?  Wonderful!   An important point to make is that each “quarter” order is standardized so you’ll received all of the normal cuts you are accustom to hearing about (roast, brisket, steaks, ribs, hamburger, and even soup bones).

Please see our Facebook page for the most up-to-date pricing:

PLACING AN ORDER

How It Works

1. Click to download all our processing forms here: All Processing Forms

  • We have given you the option of choosing from five processing forms. Not trying to insult your meat selection prowess but we find that most folks could use a little help when making their selections.
  1. The generic Beef Cut Sheet is for the seasoned veteran of the freezer beef world that knows exactly what they want.
  2. The Meat Fanatic is the one who absolutely loves a good thick steak and all the cuts that go with it.
  3. The Dinner for Two is suggested for the newly married or empty nester.
  4. The Family Sustainer is for the young family with lots of kids where the meat needs to go as far a possible!
  5. The Donnie Foister Standard Cut Sheet is for the folks that know Donnie well enough to know that he will not lead you wrong. Fair warning…he likes a thick steak every now and then!

2. Email your completed processing form to info@foister.farm.

3. Mail the required deposit check to:
Foister Farm
9477 County Line Road
Camilla, Georgia 31730

  • Feel free to drop your check off in person if you are in the area!

4. Based on the size of your order, we will let you know approximately when to expect your meat to be processed. Growing cattle is not a fast process so please     be patient with us.  It could be days from when you place your order but it could also be weeks or even months depending on availability.  Can’t rush perfection!

5. When it is time for your cow to be processed, we will give you ample notice so that you can make preparation to pick up your meat. Depending on the     processor, it could be 7-21 days from when we deliver the animal until you are able to pick it up.  Flavorful tip:  The longer you leave the meat hanging (or     “aging”), the more tender it will be.

6. The processor will call you to tell you your meat is ready.

    • Remember to bring a cooler, or coolers, big enough to hold your order
    • See our FAQ Page for how much room you will need in your cooler or freezer.
